The Counselling on offer is a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and the Person-Centred Approach, utilising both methods depending on the client and their needs.
I offer counselling for all general matters and am fully trained in and specialise in Bereavement Counselling - trained by Cruse and accredited by Ascentis.
Bereavement Counselling is something I am passionate about because it can be an extremely difficult time for an individual, whether they have lost a family member, friend or even a beloved family pet.
Bereavement and grief is not prescriptive - it is unique to ourselves - we all grieve and feel bereavement in our own way.
The variation is incredible.
Helping people deal with these thoughts and feelings is what led me to specialise in this area.
I believe in the combination of the CBT and Person-Centred Approach and provide a supportive and empathetic environment for the client to ensure that the client finds the best way forward for themselves.
